English language speaking does not exist. Quickly improve on it.

For the 5* hotel we got a very low level of services. 1. Staff does not speak English or very little. 2. Visitors smoke in the places where smoking is prohibited and the staff does not stop them. 3. We got a "non-smoking" room and when we came to the room it was not cleaned yet. We saw that the previous visitor smoked there, there was taobacco smell in the room and ash-tray full of butts. Strange to see and ash-tray in the non-smoking room. 4. Hotel Spar and health center - people do not speak English, impossible to understand which services hey provide, nobody can explaine massage features. Sauna in the Ladies part does not work. Spar does not look attractive, no special entourage. Linen on the massage bed (not massage table) - seems that someone used it before us. It was not clean. 5. The girl on the reception desk forgot to retun the credit card to me after I paid for the hotel. 6. Everywhere in the room you can find lots of different articals for sale as if we came not to the hotel room but some market - makes very unpleasant impression. The place where the hotel is situated is very nice, air is fresh, staff is very polite and friendly, very good Chinese restaurant: - unfortunately it is not enough for the 5* hotel.

I marked the comfort level of the room low in relation to other ratings as the bed was very hard - I did not find this comfortable. I understand chinese guests prefer hard beds. When I asked for a softer mattress there was not one available but room services did try to soften it by adding 2 quilts and a blanket which did help. Apart from the bed problem this was an excellent hotel with good service and facilities and also in a very good location away from the busy city centre with the beautiful Fragrant Hills close by.
