Wood floors so no issue of filthy carpets. The staff are really helpful. I am a bit of a 'thin-skinned Canadian' but when I got a bit rattled, the staff were helpful ... quickly helpful. I would stay here again. |

On the first night, as I checked in, I asked the receptionist if I could access the internet from my room. She said that I could. When I got to my room, just as I shut the door after putting my bag down, there was a knock at the door. A hotel staff member was there to hand me a network cable for my computer. I had not even had time to find out that I needed one! > > Two days later, returning to the hotel after a day of wandering around, I asked the receptionist for an extra blanket for my mother, as she had felt slightly cold the previous night. When we reached my motheræ¯ room, a staff member was waiting at the door with a blanket. > > I think that everyone secretly expects such service, but it is still a wonderful surprise when such excellent service is actually delivered. The staff members were just as prompt and helpful in booking train tickets for us. I would like to compliment the staff for their excellent service. It was of a standard that I would associate with hotels of a much higher grading. Well done! |
