Pingjiang Hotel was rebuilt from the old house in Suzhou, which was known as the house of the famous Fang family in Ming Dynasty. The hotel rooms are arranged according to the traditional domestic house in Suzhou. With wooden beams and tile roofs, the hotel is tranquil and relaxing. The history of the hotel can be traced back from the Great Cultural Revolution period. The hotel rooms are all equipped with comfortable air conditioners and independent bath rooms. Opposite the hotel there is a specialty restaurant provides authentic Suzhou delicacies and international cuisines. Apart from that, the hotel also has a coffee café to tand five muiti-functional halls with different sizes, which can hold 50 to 150 people. Situated at the center of the ancient city, the hotel is easy access to sightseeing as well as to commercial activities. It takes only 5 minutes' walk to the business and shopping center, 5 minutes' driving he preeminent Gardens and scenic spots such as the Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum, and 10 minutes' driving to the Industrial area of Suzhou Province.

Nice hotel. Carpets were little bit dirty though. No breakfest in the hotel, only in room service - not a big problem.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Pingjiang lodge. i would stay there again and recommend it to others. i didn't have breakfast but i rate it highly in all the other categories above. the staff were friendly and courteous, rooms cleaned, i loved the location and the ammenities in the room.

This was a great location! A great little inn in a Ming Dynasty manor house off the main road on one of the small canals and quiet. We had a standard single room which was quite spacious with all the expected amenities plus free internet access. I would highly recommend the Pingjiang Lodge to anyone.

everything was excellent - rooms delightful, staff helpful and area very pretty. Highly recommend this for a lovely time in the old part of Suzhou. We had a weekend that we will remember for a long time and would like to say thank you to everyone who works there!
