Brazil in high gear for UBPA participation

The Brazilian delegation visit the master plan exhibition hall in the Expo Mansion.

Brazil's Porto Alegre will mark an all-out effort to prepare for the city's presentation at Shanghai World Expo, Jose Fogace, mator of the city, said yesterday in Shanghai.

The harbour city will exhibit at the Urban Best Practices Area during the 2010 Expo where it will share the city's strategies on establishing a united society.

Porto Alegre felr honoured to be selected as one od the UBPA cases for Expo, Fogaca told bai Wenhua, chairman of Shanghai World Expo land holding Co Ltd.

The UBPA is a Shanghai Would Expo creation which will include advanced technologies and innovative ideas that display a "better life".

A total of 59 UBPA projects from cities around the world will be displayed during Expo.
