    General Information.     Food in Beijing. the most famous dish that must eat in Beijing is the Peking Roast Duck. There are many restaurants specialized in the preparation of this culinary specialty, including the famous Bianyifang Restaurant (Beijing Duck) opened in 1525, during the reign of Jiajing (11th emperor of Ming dynasty).
