Consultants discuss theme development

World Expo organizers held a symposium on July 27 with theme development consultants during the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).

Hong Hao, director of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, hosted the symposium. He said organizers should take the advice of consultants during preparations for Expo 2010.

The consultants first showed their appreciation of the "Better City, Better Life," theme. They also suggested the theme's framework was rational, but lacked inspiration and vividness.

Hong said the advice of the consultants is very important. The organizers will perfect both the framework and the design.

Huang Jianzhi, deputy director of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, made a presentation at the symposium.
