Republic of Guinea signs Expo contract

The Republic of Guinea signed a participation contract with the Shanghai World Expo 2010 organizers today, taking the total number of international participants up to 102.

Guinea, one of the earliest countries to sign up for the Shanghai Expo, confirmed its attendance in June 2006.

Guinea will join the African pavilion with a theme of urban development in varied circumstances and with natural resources.

The Republic of Guinea, located on the west of Africa, covers 246, 000 square kilometers and has a population of 9.64 million.
