Zhejiang actively participates in Expo

Shanghai's neighbor Zhejiang Province is now actively preparing for the World Expo Shanghai 2010 as the Expo tour exhibition will make its next stop in its capital Hangzhou later this month.

After successfully wrapping up its Beijing stop, the World Expo exhibition will open in Hangzhou on October 25.

Zhejiang will hold exhibitions in the China provincial joint pavilion and will participate in the Online Expo, and summit forums among other Expo events. Four cities have submitted seven cases to the Urban Best Practices Area.

Zhejiang officials are urging local companies to become Expo's sponsors and partners.

The Expo exhibition opens in Beijing September 28.
