Switzerland stages tourism attraction in E. China Province

The colorful alpine scenery and traditions of Switzerland are expected to draw increasing numbers of Chinese tourists, especially from the eastern province of Zhejiang.
The country endeavored to explore the Chinese market by holding the Switzerland Travel Experience in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang,on Mar.4.
The activity, organized by the Swiss Federal Bureau of Tourism, aims to showcase Switzerland's tourism attractions, according to Hans Roth, Consulate General of Switzerland in Shanghai.
Yao Shenghou, vice-director of Zhejiang Provincial Tourism Administration, said exchanges between the two organizations would help to develop the tourism industries in both countries.
Swiss travel agents, cable car companies and hotel groups attended the fair.
It is expected that a large number of Chinese tourists will be interested in visiting Switzerland if it is chosen as a tourism destination for Chinese citizens.
