Rooms Furnishings: 10 |  Stayed at the Days Inn Business Place April 9 to April 13. The hotel was close to the International school (ISB) as there was a 3 day track meet there which our daughter was participating. The school is a 20 minute walk from the hotel which was okay for exercise. We also paid 20 RMB to a "black taxi" that was parked out front of the hotel in the mornings to drive us to the school on two occasions. The hotel is next to Dragon Bay Villas which has a shopping center which includes a grocery store and a handful of restaurants. We ate at the Schwarzwald restaurant which was good. The Dragon Bay shopping center is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel breakfast wasn't very good. Mostly Chinese fare which is okay. The short order egg cook didn't get the egg orders correct. I ordered scrambled eggs but got a ham and cheese omelet and my wife ordered scrambled eggs and got two fried eggs, lost in translation. We only ate the breakfast on the first day otherwise we got breakfast at Yosemite Villas club house across the street from the school. Everything else about the hotel was good. The rooms, the lobby, the employees were all excellent. The price was excellent $363 for four nights. We used the hotel airport bus on the outbound on Sunday April 13 but had to take a taxi to the hotel on the arrival day April 9. All and all we would stay at the hotel again. |
