On the second and third floor of the Chinese dining hall, there are totally 400 seats, taking Guangdong cuisine as the main food, it also sales Hunan dish and Chaozhou dish as specialities. The newly decorated Guomao Pub has 20 deluxe single rooms, with first class lights and sound set, and new decoration. On the hotel B building second floor, and third floor there are chess room and health keep leisure center, provides advanced facilities and first class service that allows you to enjoy your time during the busy business trip.

Business hotel next to a very large freeway. No breakfast facilities.

The hotel was fine room size was ok cleaning staff ok but no one spoke any English and few spoke Cantonese but we muddled through beds were hard as rocks me and my wife had the best sleep that we have had in years (my bed at home cost me over a £1000 {about 10,000 YAUN RENMINBI} and is not as comfortable as the bed in the hotel, the food was not good we tried the food on the first night also the breakfast one day then after we used the hotel next door for all meals (the Ramada Plaza). All told the holiday was fine unfortunately most of people in Guangzhou (Canton) do not speak Cantonese anymore so this was a problem when shopping and I think we were there at the Canton fair so all was more expensive than we would have liked.

Receptionists make a good first impression. Hotel is next to Ramada if you want better food. Probably the most cost effective and convenient hotel if you're catching the train.

This is my third time staying in this hotel. I have previously stayed at the hotel in Dec 2008, April-May 2009 and from 30th Nov upto today. I am however worried that the hotel has lost its standards. In many cases glasses, tea cups are not washed. The hotel no longer provide shoe mitt as it used to and sometimes you have to make do without soap or even beg for toothpaste. I am afraid that unless urgent efforts are made the hotel will lose customers that had grown accustomed to its original high standards. My passport has been stolen and I dont know how long I will be forced to stay in China but if things dont change I will be forced to look for accomodation elsewhere. GORDON OKAYO
