Complex Rental - - Applying for Exhibition Permit
All exhibition organizers from outside Mainland China, who intend to organize an international exhibition in the CECF, have to obtain the exhibition permit first. For their reference to obtain such permit, they are generally recommended to go through the following procedures accordingly :
◆ Selecting a reliable exhibition organizer in Mainland China who has acquired the qualification for organizing international exhibition approved by the Ministry of Commerce(MOC), or the Ministry of Science and Technology, or China Council for the Promotion of International Trade(CCPIT) as their co-organizer.
◆ Supplying enough exhibition information and relevant documents, if necessary, to their co-organizer in Mainland China generally one year prior to the scheduled date of exhibition so that the latter could present them to the specified government organs to obtain the permit.
NB
1. For international exhibition that is above 1000 ㎡, applications should be presented to the Ministry of Commerce (MOC), or the Ministry of Science and Technology, or China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). And the permit can only be issued by one of the above three government organs.
2. For international exhibition which is below 1000 ㎡, application could be presented to the local authorized government organs, such as CCPIT Guangdong Sub-council, CCPIT Guangzhou Sub-council, Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Bureau, Guangzhou Science and Technology Committee, Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, Guangzhou Foreign Economy and Trade Committee, and the permit could be issued by one of these organs as they have obtained the related authorizations from the State Council.
3. Any international exhibition held in Mainland China without exhibition permit and a co-organizer in Mainland China is illegal.
