Seven-star Park is located in the urban area of Guilin City and on the east bank of Li River, through which Xiaodong River is passing. The park covers an area of over 100 hectares and was named after the tale that the seven peaks of Mountain Qixing were the seven stars in the north sky falling down to the earth. Brocade Hill Guilin

Nanxi Hill Guilin
Nanxi Hill is situated in the south of Guilin, about one kilometer away from the railway station. The east and west peaks of the Hill tower high. Draped in a veil of gray mist, they offer a spectacular view. Most of the hills in Guilin are dark green with the only exception, Nanxi Hill tinted with white. There are many peculiar caves including White Dragon Cave and Liu Xian Cave. The earliest explorer of Nanxi Hill was the Inspector of Tang Dynasty named Libo and he liked these caves so much that he engraved his poem named "Farewell Nanxi" in one of the caves. The Dragon Spine Pavilion between the two peaks is the best place to sightsee the city of Guilin. The White Dragon Bridge is on Nanxi River. The White Dragon Spring to the north of the Hill is a well-known spring in Guilin.
Li River Ethnic Cultural Park Guilin

Guilin Xiongsen Bears and Tigers Village Guilin
The Bear and Tiger Village is located in Shatang Loop of Guilin Liangjiang Airport Expressway in Lingui County, possessing over 80 tigers, over 200 black bears, 30 lions and leopards, snakes, monkeys, birds and other wild animals of precious and rare species. Located in the north of Guilin and by Li River, Yushan Park is the star ting spot for sightseeing of Guilin Mountain and Lakes, and the birthplace of Guilin's history and culture. Reed Flute Park Guilin
Located in the northwest of Guilin City, 5 kilometres away from the center of the city, the park is a famous scenic spot, mainly offering a majestic fairyland of karst caves with landscape and rural scenery. The length of the Reed Flute Cave is 240 meters, whereas the whole distance of touring can last 500 meters. There are too many things for the eyes to take in. the natural beauty of large amount of stalactites, stalagmites, stone columns, stone curtains, stone pillars in fantastic shapes and colours, which formed the numerous imaginable spots, such as 'Dawn in the Lion Hill', 'Round-topped Mosquito Palace', The Hill of Flowers and Fruits', etc. These remarkable scenes in the cave could undoubtedly evoke breathless admiration from domestic and foreign visitors. Thus, the cave is highly praised as the 'Huge Art Palace of the Nature'. Tourists began to pay their visits here in the Tang Dynasty. At present, there are 77 stone inscriptions through the ages inside the cave Since the discovery and opening of the cave in 1959, a lot of tourist installations, such as restaurants, a teahouse, waterside pavilions, a pond and a zigzag bridge have been established here. Moreover, there are pleasure-boats on the pond, and flowers and trees could be seen here and there. In a word, the Reed Flute Cave has become one of the most popular spots that Chinese and foreign tourists will be bound to visit.
Fubo Hill Guilin
Rising from the ground, Fubo Hill slopes into the Li River in the east and looms in the west over the ground. Waves run back wherever they meet the blocks thus it gets the name. A tale also has it that Ma Yuan, called General Fubo, of the Han Dynasty had once passed by Guilin on a southern expedition. He poured all the pearls he carried into the river, so the hill was named after him in his memory, and there used to be a Fubo Pavilion on the hill in Tang Dynasty.
Now, it still has a lot of places of interest, such as Kuishui Ting (Kui Stream Pavilion), Tingtao Pavilion (Listening to Waves), Banshan Ting (Half the Hill Pavilion), Huanzhu Cave (Returning the Pearl). Shijian Stone (Testing Sword), Qianfo Cave (Thousand-Buddha Cave) and Coral Cave. There is also a pot which is said to be big enough to cook for one thousand people and a cast iron bell, which was built by the daughter of Prince Ding Nan of Qing Dynasty named Kong Youde as a memorial of him.
The Shijian Stone (Testing Sword Stone) in the Returning Pearl Cave which is closely attached to Li River is a giant stone, hanging from the ceiling of the cave with only a few inches to the ground. It seems that its top and the ground was suddenly separated as a result of General Fubo's sword testing and it remains a wonder as well. In Returning Pearl Cave and Qianfo Cave, there are many stone slabs and Buddha images carved in relief in Tang and Song Dynasties. So it is known as 'the Fascinating Place of Fubo Mountain'.
Chuanshan Hill Park Guilin

Situated south of the city and on the east bank of Li River, Chuanshan Hill Park covers an area of 2 square kilometers with the Chuanshan Hill as the axis. It faces Elephant-trunk Hill across the Li River and stands against the Turtle Hill on the west bank. Two hills look like two fighting roosters, |
hence the name Rooster-fighting Hills. There is Tower Hill in front of the Chuanshan Hill with Shou Fo Pagoda of Ming Dynasty on the top. Xiaodong Rivers runs between the two hills with picturesque reflections on the water. The Chuanshan Hill has Moon Cave and Tunnel Cave. Moon Cave is at the middle hillside and looks like a moon. Standing in the cave, tourists will have a spectacular view looking to the north or south. At the bottom of the hill, the Tunnel Cave has the rarely seen scenery besides stalactite.?
Jingjiang King's Residence Guilin
Zhu Shouqian was appointed as the Jingjiang King by his grandfather Ming Tai Zu (the first emperor of Ming Dynasty). In 1372, Zhu Shouqian had the king residence built up at the foot of Duxiu Peak. It was completed in the year 1392 and was set up complying with the formation for all kings. 4 pavilions and other 40 constructions surrounding the main buildings.It covers a total area of 19.87 hectares. During the 257 years from the founding of the mansion to the end of Ming Dynasty, 14 kings of 12 generations lived here.
In 1921, Sun Yat-sen had been here for the Northward Expedition. In the winter of 1925, it was established to be Yat-sen Park and now is Guangxi Normal University. Duxiu Peak is standing nearby. The carved balustrades and marble steps of the mansion still remain to today.
Crown Cave Guilin

Crown Cave is located in Grassland Town southern suburbs of Guilin. The cave gets its name because it looks like a crown. It has a great gate facing Li River and the cave stream enters into Li River. The cave is further divided into four caves connecting with each other. There are stalagmite and stalactite attached in the top of the outer cave with spacious and bright appearance. |
You can sail into the cave from Li River. Looking outside gives you a full view of the hanging stalactite, with purple mist which creates a poetic charm in this cave. If you travel in a boat on Li River, after about two hours' sailing from Guilin to Yangshuo, you will see the wonderful scenery of the Crown Cave.
Overseas Chinese Tourist and Economic Zone Guilin

Elephant-trunk Hill Guilin
Elephant-trunk Hill is also called Elephant Hill, which stands majestically at the confluence of the Li River and Taohua River. Shuiyue Cave is at the riverside with water of Li River flowing through.It looks like a moon on the river. The stone looks like a trunk of an elephant drinking water. With a fabulous scenic view, the Elephant-trunk Hill is an outstanding tourist attraction even in early Tang and Song dynasties.
West Hill Guilin
Located in the west of Guilin, West Hill is a famous site of Guilin and covers about 2 square kilometers including the Hidden Hill and West Hill. Xi Shan used to be the booming site for ancient Buddhism. During the Tang Dynaty, splendid temples were found scattering all around. The famous Xiqinglin Temple built in Tang Dynasty was one of the five large temples in South China at that time, when eminent monks, famous people and devout men came here from afar for a visit incessantly. Now on the hills there still remain over 90 Buddhist shrines and over 200 statues. Banyan Lake and Fir Lake Guilin

Banyan Lake and Fir Lake are located in the center of Guilin, and Banyan Lake is west and Fir Lake is east with the Yang Bridge as the boundary. The Banyan Lake surface is so smooth that it looks like a mirror shining the ancient city. It charms visitors with its calm character in the noisy environment of the downtown. The ancient South Gate was established in Tang Dynasty. Fir Lake is neighboring Li River in the east and is depending on Elephant Hill in the south. Yao Hill Guilin
Yao Hill lies in the east of Guilin, 12 km away from the downtown. The top peak is 909 meters high and 760 meters by relative height and is the biggest and the highest hill in Guilin. It got its name from its location where it faces the Memorial Temple of Emperor Shun across the Li River. Yao Hill is famous for its deepness and broadness with splendid air. It has a spring with azalea flowers everywhere, a summer of competing bamboo for their greenness, an autumn of sky-touching red maples with falling leaves, and a winter of snow on mountains so transparent as pure crystal. The Hill holds such places of interest as Yao Temple, White Deer Temple, Jade Breast Pond and Tianci Field, among which the Jingjiang King Tombs covering over 100 square meters are the most famous ones.
Completed in 1996, the 1,416.18-meter long cable way connects the top and the foot with a bird's-eye view of wonderful peaks and ground. The 1,000m sloping track has 18 curves, which enables tourists to travel through mysterious forest in thrill to seek the charm of nature.
Guilin Botanical Park Guilin
Guilin Botanical Park is located in the west of Yan Hill town and opposite to Yan Hill Park. This Botanical Park was set up in 1958, covering 67 hectares, and it is one of the earliest ten Chinese botanical parks. There are more than 2,100 species of subtropical plants as its main body. These plants are mainly for economy and appreciation. Now, in the park are gymnosperm zone, palm zone, medicine plant zone, flowers and potted landscape, rare and endangered plants zone and lily zone, plus ginkgo, tea and black cypress garden and so on. With these, the city of Guilin has been the ideal place for holiday and tourism.
Duxiu Peak Guilin
Duxiu Peak abruptly rises, steep and precipitous, in Jingjiang King's Residence and has long been called "a Pillar holding Up the Southern Sky".
