 The great tour will take you to two adjacent provinces both with long history. You will experience the atmosphere of ancient times and have a unforgettable memory.
Day 1 Beijing
On arrival, CITS guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you. You will be transferred to the Golden Bridge Apartment Hotel **** for a three-night stay on a room and breakfast basis. The rest of the day is free to relax.

(L+D) ♦ Day 2 Beijing
 Morning:
Take a half-day excursion to explore the incredible Forbidden City with its grand palaces and courtyards. Built in 1420, it was here that 24 emperors lived and ruled for over 500 years. The South Gate leads you to Tian'anmen Square - the biggest of its kind in the world.
Afternoon:
Continue to the beautiful Summer Palace where you can discover gardens, palaces and pavilions with temples and halls in a tranquil, landscaped lakeside setting.

(B+L+D) ♦ Day 3 Beijing
 Morning:
You will take a half-day guided visit to the awesome Great Wall of China. Here you can enjoy the stunning views as you stroll along this seemingly endless piece of history, which winds its way into the far distance.
Afternoon:
Continue to the Ming Tomb, which due to their enormity took over 200 years to complete.

(B+L+D) ♦ Day 4 Beijing to Datong
 Take an aftertoon train to Datong.

(D) ♦ Day 5 Datong
 Morning:
Have a visit of Yungang Grotto, the oldest one of the three major cave clusters in China, which was built in the Northern Wei Dynasty. Yungang Grotto is also one of the world heritage.
Afternoon:
Visit the marvellous and incredible Hanging Monastery. The Hanging Monastery on the cliff was bulit more than 1500 years ago and it combines different religions. The Wooden Pagoda, located in Yingxian County, is the oldest and highest wooden structure in China. The Wooden Pagoda is now under good protection.

 Taking a train to Taiyuan, pick up at the railway station and have a view of the Twin-Pagoda Temple, a symbol of Taiyuan on account of its unique architecture.

(B+L+D) ♦ Day 7 Taiyuan to Pingyao
 Morning:
The coach will take you to the Qiaojia Yard which is a yard for the business man in Ming dynasty.
Afternoon:
Driving to Pingyao.

(B+L+D) ♦ Day 8 Pingyao to Taiyuan
 Today just have an overall view of Pingyao Ancient City. Being one of the four wholly-protected ancient cities in China, Pingyao Ancient City is thought of as the 'treasure house' of ancient Chinese architectures. You will pass through the ancient town and take a walk along the street to fully appreciate the atmosphere of the city. You can also take some local snacks such as Pingyao Beef that has been well-known from the Ming Dynasty.Drive back to Taiyuan.

(B+L+D) ♦ Day 9 Taiyuan to Xi'an
 Transfer to the airport for your flight to Xi'an, China's ancient capital. Upon arrival have a city tour of the City Wall that still compasses the center of Xi'an. City tour also includes the Shanxi History Museum where you will discover how Xi'an became the cradle of Chinese culture.

(B+L+D) ♦ Day 10 Xi'an
 Morning:
Visit the world-famous Terracotta Warriors where life-sized infantrymen, archer, officers and their horses symbolically guard the tomb of the first Qin emperor.
Afternoon:
Followed by the dramatic Wild Goose Pagoda.

 Take a flight back to Beijing and end the fabulous trip in China.
