 A Silk Road tour starts from the royal cultural Beijing which is the capital city of China.Then comes to Dunhuang, which was once the holy place on the Silk Road. Continue to Urumqi, a capital in the largest Uigur region with the variety of nationalities. Turpan and Kashgar, these cities had been flourishing in history.
Day 1 Beijing
On arrival, CITS guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you. You will be transferred to the well-located 5 stars Holiday Inn Crown Plaza for a three-night stay on a room and breakfast basis. The rest of the day is free to relax.

 Morning:
Take a half-day excursion to explore the incredible Forbidden City with its grand palaces and courtyards. Built in 1420, it was here that 24 emperors lived and ruled for over 500 years. The South Gate leads you to Tian'anmen Square - the biggest of its kind in the world.
Afternoon:
Continue to the beautiful Summer Palace where you can discover gardens, palaces and pavilions with temples and halls in a tranquil, landscaped lakeside setting.Explore the Temple of Heaven which itself has become a symbol of the city. Here ancient emperor worshipped God and prayed for harvest.
Evening:
After dinner a fascinating Peking Opera Show will be presented to you in the Front Zone at the Liyuan Theatre.

 Morning:
You will take a half-day guided visit to the awesome Great Wall of China. Here you can enjoy the stunning views as you stroll along this seemingly endless piece of history, which winds its way into the far distance.
Afternoon:
Continue to the Ming Tomb, which due to their enormity took over 200 years to complete.
Evening:
Dinner is served at the original, century-old Quanjude Roasted Duck Restaurant.

 Morning:
Take a flight to Dunhuang, which was an important place along the Silk Road. Meet the guide at the Airport.
Afternoon:
Have a visit to Mingsha Sand Dune and Crescent-Moon Spring, and take a ride on camelback. Transfer to the hotel after dinner.

 Have a full day visit to Mogao Grottoes and Dunhuang Mesuem, which will provide you a better understanding of the great Mogao Grottoes.Transfer to the rail station and take an overnight soft sleeper train to Turpan.

 Morning:
Arrive at Turpan and meet the guide. You will have a Sightseeing of the Ancient City of Gaochang, the ancient walled capital of the Uighurs that flourished between the 7th and 14th centuries and the Emin Minaret (Su Gong Ta).
Afternoon:
Continue to the amazing 2,000-year-old Karez Irrigation Tunnels, which brought water from melting snow on the mountains to this parched city.

 Morning:
A tour of the ruins of Jiaohe City, where large fragments of actual streets and buildings.
Afternoon:
You will have half-day visit to the Bizaklik Thousand Buddha Caves, and the Grape Valley where you will take a walk along the grape corridor.

 Morning:
You will take a three-hours drive to Urumqi by the private car.
Afternoon:
You are free for the rest of the day. You could go to the local bazaar on your own.

 Enjoy a full day excursion to the Heavenly Lake, nestled in the Heavenly Mountain (Tianshan Mountain) range. Transfer to the hotel after dinner.

Explore the Old Town Area of Kashgar and the Stone City.
