 Traveling by road instead of by air or by rail is no doubt a unique way of learning about China. Visit the great cities of Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Nanjing, Suzhou, Zhengzhou, Xi'an and Luoyang, enjoy the abundant tourist attractions there, travel with speed and comfort, and relax in hotels. And with CITS' quality service you can explore these fascinating places at your own leisurely pace.
Our tour program in this brochure coincides with the opening of the country's 16,000-km-long expressways, including the newly-completed 1,262-km-long Beijing-Shanghai expressway, a speedy thoroughfare that links Hebei, Shandong and Jiangsu provinces, and 1,100-km-long Beijing-Xi'an expressway, a high-speed thoroughfare that links Hebei, Henan and Shaanxi provinces. All the roads are wide and fine in the cities to be visited. Our coaches with a seating capacity from 22 to 55 people are air-conditioned and comfortable. Visitors on a coach tour may best appreciate the beautiful scenery of the mountains and waters, savor local cuisine and buy souvenirs they love most.

Day 1 Beijing

 A full day excursion to the Great Wall, one of the most amazing feats of human labor. After lunch, a drive to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred Way with giant marble figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644AD). In the evening you are treated to a delicious Beijing roasted duck dinner. Stay at 4-star hotel. ♦ Day 3 Beijing
 A tour of Tian'anmen Square, the world's largest public square, and Palace Museum, known as the Forbidden City,Temple of Heaven, the largest temple complex in China, tour of the Summer Palace, a former summer resort for the royal family.  Visit Lu Gou Bridge, known as Marco Polo Bridge.Arrive in Baoding. Visit Zhili Governors Office, the only best preserved provincial office of the Qing Dnasty. Lunch at a restaurant.Leave for Zhengding to visit the Longxingsi Complex, Huata Pagoda and Chenglingta Pagoda.Leave for Shijiazhuang where dinner is served.Accommodated at Hebei Grand Hotel (4-star ) or similar hotel in Shijiazhuang. ♦ Day 5 Shijiazhuang 188km(2hrs) Handan 60km(1hr) Anyang 183km(2hrs) Zhengzhou
 Leave for Handan in the morning.In Handan. A sightseeing tour of Wuling Congtai Terrace, the symbol ofHandan and watch a Taiji boxing performance. Lunch at a restaurant.Arrive in Anyang, capital of the Yin and Shang dynasties (1766-1154BC). Visit Museum of the Yin Ruins, Fuhao Tomb (A middle-size imperial tomb where a heroine named Fuhao was buried.) and Wenfeng Pagoda, a 38.65 meters high umbrella-shaped tower building.Arrive in Zhengzhou.  Boating in the Yellow River scenic area. Visit Henan Provincial MuseumLeave for Dengfeng after lunch.In Dengfeng. Visit Shaolin Monastery, the founding temple of the Buddhist Chan Sect and the birthplace of Shaolin Kungfu, and Pagoda Forest.  Visit Longmen Grottoes, a world cultural heritage, and Art and Craft FactoryVisit Museum of Ancient Tombs. Dinner at a restaurant. Stay at 4-star hotel. ♦ Day 8 Luoyang 130km(2hrs) Sanmenxia 244km(3hrs) Xi'an
 Leave for Sanmenxia in the morning.Visits to ruins of Chart-and-Horse Tomb of Ancient Guo State in the Spring and Autumn Period, and cave dwelling courtyard (7 kilometers away from the city of Sanmenxia).Leave for Xi'an after lunch.In Xi'an, the great ancient capital and the eastern end of the Silk Road. Visit the life-sized terra-cotta warriors and horses buried for 2,200 years in the first emperor's necropolis, and the Bronze Chariots, the first and largesst imperial mausoleum in China, also a world heritage site.Dinner at a restaurant. Accommodated at Tangcheng Hotel (4-star ) or similar class hotel in Xian. ♦ Day 9 Xi'an
 Out for a visit to Huaqing Hot Spring Palace and Emperor Qin Shih Huang's Mausoleum.After lunch, visit the Greater Wild Goose Pagoda and Ancient City Wall, the largest and the most complete ancient city wall well-preserved in China.Dinner at a restaurant. Stay at 4-star hotel.
