Shanghai, a cosmopolitan, bustling and heavily populated city, is one of those cities that have to be seen There are impressive Great Wall in Beijing and the amazing find of the Terra Cotta Warriors in Xi'an.
Day 1 Shanghai
On arrival, CITS guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you. You will be transferred to the Holiday Inn Downtown Shanghai **** for a two-night stay on a room and breakfast basis. The rest of the day is free to relax. You could take a walk along the famous waterfront to fully appreciate this diverse city.
Accommodation at the Holiday Inn Downtown Shanghai **** ♦ Day 2 Shanghai
 Morning:
Visit the Shanghai Museum with its collection of ancient Chinese Art of bronze, ceramics, painting and calligraphy.
Afternoon:
Continue the Yu Garden, which has over 30 pavilions, linked by a maze of corridors and bridges. And Jade Buddha Temple where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha is treasured.
Evening:
Enjoy an acrobatic show at the Portman Ritz-Carlton Hotel for your entertainment after dinner.
Accommodation at the Holiday Inn Downtown Shanghai **** ♦ Day 3 Shanghai to Xi'an
 Morning:
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Xi'an, China's ancient capital.
Afternoon:
Upon arrival, have a city tour includes the Shanxi History Museum where you will discover how Xi'an became the cradle of Chinese culture before checking in at the Hotel for 2 nights.
Accommodation at the Bell Tower Hotel **** ♦ Day 4 Xi'an
 Morning:
Full day visit the world-famous Terracotta Warriors where life-sized infantrymen, archer, officers and their horses symbolically guard the tomb of the first Qin emperor.
Afternoon:
Followed by the Wild Goose Pagoda, which is an important cultural relic and one of the remaining symbols of Xi'an.
Evening:
After dinner you will be entertained with the marvelous Tang Dynasty Show.
Accommodation at the Bell Tower Hotel **** ♦ Day 5 Xi'an to Beijing
 Morning:
Visit the Bell tower and the Ancient City Wall that still compasses the center of Xi'an.
Afternoon:
Transfer and take the flight to Beijing. Explore the Temple of Heaven which itself has become a symbol of the city. Here ancient emperor worshipped God and prayed for harvest. Transfer to the hotel for 3 nights.
Accommodation at the New World Courtyard Hotel **** ♦ Day 6 Beijing
 Morning:
Take a half-day excursion to explore the incredible Forbidden City with its grand palaces and courtyards. Built in 1420, it was here that 24 emperors lived and ruled for over 500 years. The South Gate leads you to Tian'anmen Square - the biggest of its kind in the world.
Afternoon:
Continue to the beautiful Summer Palace where you can discover gardens, palaces and pavilions with temples and halls in a tranquil, landscaped lakeside setting.
Evening:
After dinner a fascinating Peking Opera Show will be presented to you at the Liyuan Theatre.
Accommodation at the New World Courtyard Hotel **** ♦ Day 7 Beijing
 Morning:
You will take a half-day guided visit to the awesome Great Wall of China. Here you can enjoy the stunning views as you stroll along this seemingly endless piece of history, which winds its way into the far distance.
Afternoon:
Continue to the Ming Tomb, which due to their enormity took over 200 years to complete.
Evening:
Dinner is served at the original, century-old Quanjude Roasted Duck Restaurant.
