Room carpet extremely filfy. Hot water heater very dirty with thick mineral deposits all over. Very noisy in hallway outside room, even very late at night. Very hard mattress with very little padding - one actually feels the bed springs while lying on it. Bathroom dimly lit with only 1 light working. No bath tub stopper for guest to take baths instead of showers. Only 1 working elevator while the other one was under repair. Housekeeper ignored "Do not disturb' sign & changed sheets before we even checked out. Reception staff changed our door key before we checked out so we couldn't get into our room before check out time. Breakfast wasn't included therefore no comments. The only positive point is the location - it's in town & very close to attractions.

The "international" in the name is the only "international" in the whole hotel. The english of the front staff was sufficient, but the processes in the hotel are paper-driven and it takes ages to get anything working. The bed was clean, but the bathroom and room were below standard. Today I stay in Kempinski Shenyang for 520 RMB - it is 10 classes higher then sihai, so I would say the price ratio in Sihai is ridiculuos. The bed was much too hard. The breakfast was not a little bit "international" but Chinese only. Though the location was good. After swapping through 100 Chinese TV Channels, I gave up to find an english one.

Everything in bathroom worded fine but would have liked a standup shower raher than in the tub. We are old people and had difficulty getting in and out of tub. Carpet could stand cleaning but otherwise bery good. Staff was very helpful and efficient.

This Hotel was OK but I find a bit strange that there was no continental breakfast (as we say in Europe). I did not really mind about it, but the breakfast was 100% Chinese : no coffee, no jam, no bread. I found it a pleasant experience as a traveller to have a genuine Chinese breakfast but it is weird for an hotel supposed to be "international" not to supply also Western style breakfast for Western customers.

Hotel location ideal to explore the major tourist attractions of the town, 24th floor allowing for exceptional views, still assuring quietness of the room, high comfort of the room , worth of the price! ( we did not have breakfast included, thus no comment possible).
