The time of the last vessel of Shenjiamen passenger transport station to Putuo mountain is 17:00, and the time of the vessel from Ningbo daxie port and Zhujiajian passenger transport station to Putuo mountain is respectively 16:40 and 20:00. the setsail time of the final vessel will be adjusted according to the local weather conditon that day, please take attention.

The wlan in the rooms did not work. The floors in the rooms should be changed/renovated, the carpets seemed a bit grubby (wood would be better for a modern hotel) the furnishing was a little outdated. The breakfast was only till 9 am which is too early for europeans on holiday.

We stayed 3 nights @ the CITIC Putuo Hotel with our family, I have to say that our experience on PutuoShan was wonderful, the island is an experience of a lifetime. The hotel on the other hand was a little to be desired; however I realized it was a 3 star hotel and not to expect the same amenities that a higher rated hotel has to offer. Our biggest disappointment was the kindness and professionalism of the wait staff in the restaurant. Breakfast closed at 9:00AM which is unusual for us Westerners, but we went to the market for fresh produce. We ate dinner one night out on the patio, and the staff accomodated us even though we got there just @ 7:00 PM when dinner was closed on the patio. We got the feeling we were inconveniencing the staff..the seafood was good and prepared well. We wanted to eat dinner in the restaurant on our last night, we got there at 7:45 and they were closed, even after we made a special point the day before to ask when they would close. The sign said 9:00PM, when we asked they said 8:00PM but when we got there between 7:30 and 7:45 they would not serve us and even though they spoke to us in Chinese we could tell they were annoyed at having to even talk to us, we ate at another place down the street where people were begging us to stop and eat. I realize there are not many English speaking visitors there and the staff is limited in the language but even though the words may not be understood the gestures, expressions and tone of voice is understood. There was a young lady that helped me alot at the front desk that spoke English, and was very thoughtful, kind and patient. I wish I knew her name. The rooms could use a very good deep cleaning, the carpets were soiled and not alot of attention to detail...but we survived. Putuoshan was a highlight on our trip. The hotel I'm sure was a first rate hotel in the past, but not at this point in time, know that you are in a 2-3 star hotel. The price however was good, they could go a long way to improvement with just a little more customer service and cleanliness.

We choose the family suite, very, very expensive, on arriving we find a room with only one bed, no beds for the children, the room was quite dirty, the carpet was really discasting, the room service didn't arrange the room the second day, only change the towels. For breakfast we went to the Hotel next door, the buffet was poor in quality and in options for choosing. A hotel not for send your friends. Despite of this the service of chinahotelsreservation was exemplar, very good, professional and fast, thanks for your help.

The Hotel was great and we loved our stay there. We had a sea facing room. The pictures of the hotel have been 'photoshopped' to show that it is on the beach. There is a road and trees in between, but lovely none the less. The Chinese food is good in the hotel but no 'western food' anywhere on the island. The rooms are clean and spacious and the beds very comfortable. The location is good and if you are up for a walk can walk almost all over the southeren part of the island. It's a ten min walk from the port and the beach in front of the hotel and boardwalk are lovely.
