Only one employee at the Reception could speak a decent English but it seemed that we were the only non-Chinese customers. The Business center is of very limited help but the Reception lent us a laptop PC (free of charge) to access the Internet directly in our room (30 RMB/hour). This gesture was very well appreciated. There is a free shuttle between the pier and the hotel (which is 15-minute away by foot through tortuous streets). It would have been good to know this fact beforehand. NB: the correct spelling of the hotel name is MARINE GARDEN HOTEL (not MARING)
