The lobby of the hotel was the nicest part, but the rooms weren't as nice nor as clean as I would have hoped. I've stayed in a hostel with better kept rooms for half the price. The staff was friendly and had a map of the ancient town and the breakfast was a decent Chinese buffet. The hotel was really close to both the entrance of the ancient city and the bus station, which was really convenient, but there were so many small hotels to choose from once we got inside the ancient city that it would have also been nice to stay there so that we could stay in the city later. I would suggest this location if you are staying for one night and want to be close to the bus station in the morning, but if you're here for two, everything to see is in the ancient town and I wouldn't want to pay the entrance fee twice.

Very frendly staff but most of them hardly speek Engish. Very large room but also, as in moste Chinees hotels, very dirty carpet. Amusement 10 points but no amusement available. Unable to to vote NA.
