We were pleased with the ideal location of Yangshou Regency Hotel ,situated at the head of the popular tourist West Street district . The convenience of nearby shopping district ,a great variety of eateries and the bus station ( where we took an express ride to Guilin City )makes our stay pleasant and enjoyable. The counter staff provided good customer service .However , the quality of breakfast can be improved .We had to borrow a hair dryier as our room did not have one . Overall , a quality hotel with quality service !

Our stay was very pleasant and relaxing. Apart from the bed springs in the mattress, I would suggest that it may be time to have the mattress replaced. Staff all very friendly and willing to help. The rooms balcony view of the mountains are fantastic. I wished that my time was longer.

Hotel is value for money. V good location however a bit noisy facing the traffic street as it is where the transport vehicles are stationed and making noises deep into the night.

Hotel was basic. On your website it said there was internet in the hotel. There was one terminal for 8 yuan an hour. we tried to get internet in the rooms through a network cable after asking reception twice about it. The manager eventually came up to our room with all of the cables and router but was unable to set it up because we were using a Mac Book and only knew how to set up a Windows PC and was reluctant to try sort it out. so sadly no internet in our room. It was loud till late because the hotel faces onto West street ( where all the clubs are) but it was still ok to sleep. Missed breakfast (ends 9.30) so can't comment. Overall it was just ok. Found a hostel for a lot cheaper after walking around and have found better hotels on chinareservations.com . Nick - 28- Ireland

The hotel was very nice and very well located: right on the pedestrian West street, and 2 mins walk from the bus station, all the bike renting places and the local travel agencies. The view of the room is on West street, which is very entertaining. The room decoration and space very very nice. Although, the beds mattress were a piece of wood. I had to put the provided extra blanket on the mattress to make it more comfortable. But there was no other extra blanket so the person on the 2nd bed had to enjoy the wood... They also should put 2 small bottles of water for free in the room, as they do in most hotels in China. The included breakfast was ok (mix of Chinese and Western), but as it was under the air-conditionning, it was constantly more cold than hot. The vanilla milkshake was perfect to relax after a day spent under the sun. From what I have seen in Yangshuo, I think that on the whole this hotel is the best one of the city.

The room was really big with a fantastic view and great balcony. It also has a great loction at the top of West Street. I would recommend this hotel.
