With globalization, how to lead companies into positions of strategic advantage has become a top priority for corporate executives. The University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business will address this challenge with the 2008 Global Leadership Conference on June 5-7 at the
Shanghai Hilton Hotel. The Smith School will co-host the event with the University of San Diego and the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL).
The theme of this year's conference is "Leadership transformation in a Global Economy," referring to the rich and varied theories and approaches to the study and practice of leadership, with the end goal the same across the globe – excellence in leadership.
