428K visitors come on last Saturday-Shanghai Expo

Yesterday was the last Saturday of Expo, many visitors crowded into the site to take pictures. By 9pm, 428,600 visitors had entered the site, adding the total volume to beyond 72.78 million in the 183 days of Expo.
As of 6pm, the gate at Houtan had received 66,000 visitors, compared to 73,000 at Shangnan Road, 62,000 via Changqing Road and 54,000 through Gaoke Road W.
By 10pm, 111 shows were staged in the site, attracting 186,900 spectators. Some 7,569 volunteers served on the site.
By 4pm, five medical stations in the site had received 227 visitors, of whom 15 were externally injured.
Expo Shanghai will close today. The closing ceremony and performances will begin on 8:10pm with the live broadcasting by China Nation Radio (CNR), China Central Television (CCTV), China Radio International (CRI), Xinhua news agency's Website and People's Daily Online.
No fireworks shows or carnival activities for closing ceremony.
