Air Macao, the flagship airline in the special administrative region, plans to launch flights to two Mainland cities of GuangZhou and Ningbo, local media reported Friday.
The Macao Post Daily quoted Fei Hongjun, general manager of theairline, as saying that the two destinations in China's economically prosperous eastern and southern parts are expected to be popular with travelers.
The airline is also weighing the feasibility of setting up a new route to Japan, Fei was cited.
The airline, having launched the debut flight in 1995, is now running scores of international and domestic flights.
The airline handled 2.1 million passengers and 150,000 tons of airfreight in 2005, both hitting the record high, according to the statistics released earlier by the company. |
