Airline transportation Promote tourism in North XJ

From the beginning of the tourism peak season, 3 feeder lines airports, inclusive of XJ Narat Airport, XJ Karamay Airport and XJ Altay Airport were opened successively.
The tourism in North XJ booms in short time and becomes a new spotlight of XJ tourism.
After these three airports completed construction or reconstruction, South Airline XJ Company respectively opened or resumed its flight routes from Urumqi to Narat, Karamay and Altay. Meanwhile, during the peak season, the company increased scheduled flights in north XJ. The two-way flights in Urumqi-Ining- Alaty were also opened, thus the tourism itineraries were connected. It is learned that, in this July, the flights from Urumqi to Altay transported 35,000 men times of passengers, with an increase of 17.4% than that in the same period of 2005. |
