Beijing Begins to Promote Panda Culture

A wildlife-protection event entitled "Concern for National Treasures, Promoting Panda Culture" was held recently in Beijing.
This public welfare event was jointly held by the National Forestry Bureau Wildlife Conservation Department and the Chinese Wildlife Conservation Association.
The event aims to show China's efforts in protecting the giant panda, and in using the panda as a symbolic international diplomacy tool over the past several years.
The highlights of the event also included introducing the panda's evolution; natural temperament, history, psychology and cultural influence in China as a national treasure. |
