Beijing Develops Intelligent System for Public Transport

The Chinese capital has developed a hi-tech information system for public transport, which has begun trial operation at one bus line.
The electronic screen installed at the bus station will tell passengers the number of the coming bus and the time when the buses leave the starting station and arrive at the stop.
Moreover, the system can help make arrangements for passengers if buses encounter problems.
In addition, 10 bus lines are expected to employ this hi-tech system by the end of this year.
