|
25-Jan-2004 - |
Tourism has been brisk around China as the Chinese Lunar New Year holiday enters its third day.
Ice lanterns and bright fireworks in northeast China have entertained tourists from the southern part of the country, where snow and ice are both rare.
Various flowers are on display in the eastern city of Suzhou to welcome tourists.
People visiting Yunnan Province in southwestern China are entertained by ethnic folk songs and dances. Information and guidance materials are also available for those tourists traveling by themselves.
The civil aviation, railway and highway authorities are taking every possible measures to cope with the rise in travel during the Spring Festival holiday. |
