Shanghai residents will soon be able to buy cheap train tickets to travel across Europe. The prices range from about 100 US dollars to more than 1,000 dollars. The RailEurope Shanghai Agency has started promoting travel packages to the 13 EU member countries officially open to Chinese tourists. Locals can buy train tickets for 10 to 15 percent cheaper than those sold in Europe, while a further 30 percent discount would be available as long as tourists travel in groups. The prices range from about 100 US dollars to more than 1,000 dollars. Customers will be offered various free or discounted services, such as free cruises, and special prices on hotels and car rentals. |
