China-ASEAN on the road

The China-ASEAN Business Caravan, a convoy of 56 vehicles from Kunming, China, is travelling through Malaysia from May 1 to May 5.
The visit is part of an 18-day tour starting on April 23 organised by the Bangkok-based Asia Pacific Economic and Trade Association in co-operation with China's Yunnan province and the Malaysian-China Chamber of Commerce to promote bilateral relations, economic and commercial activities between China and ASEAN countries.
The event celebrates the 30th anniversary of Sino-Malaysia diplomatic relations and commemorates the 600th anniversary of Admiral Cheng Ho's expeditions to South-east Asia.
