China-EU Deal Will Benefit Hong Kong

Hong Kong has praised Saturday's EU-China agreement on the textile trade. The local government's Acting Chief Executive Henry Tang says it will create a stable environment for Hong Kong to investment in the Chinese mainland. He said Hong Kong was highly concerned about the dispute over the textile dispute. Hong Kong's textile trade regulator has also praised the deal. The Apparel Society and Textile Council of Hong Kong say it minimizes uncertainty for exporters and manufacturers. |
