China Pavilion extends service time

The Shanghai Expo's China Pavilion will extend its service time starting July 30, according to a report from Chinanews.com on Thursday.
The pavilion has received an average of over 32,000 tourists per day during weekdays since it was reopened to the public on July 12.
The number is even higher in weekends, with over 44,000 tourists on average visiting per day.
According to the newly-released timetable, the open hours have been extended 30 minutes (8:30 am to 4:30 pm) from Tuesday to Friday. Visitors will not be admitted after 5:00 pm.
On weekends and holidays, there are two additional hours of admittance, with open hours lasting from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. Visitors will not be admitted after 6:30 pm.
The pavilion is closed every Monday for a weekly overhaul.
The second extension of the China Pavilion's exhibition will conclude on October 9. |
