China Post to sell stakes in bank

China Post is in talks to sell stakes in a savings bank to be set up in June to China Telecom and China Unicom, the South China Morning Post reported, citing unidentified sources.
China Post will own at least 51 percent of the bank and sell the remaining to outside investors, the newspaper said. The paper didn't specify whether the postal service is in discussions with the parent or the Hong Kong-listed unit of China Telecom and China Unicom. Foreign investors may take a stake indirectly through Chinese institutions in which they have an interest, the paper said.
