China has 475 logistics bases

As the logistics industry continues to develop, logistics bases have been booming in China, said Lu Jiang, Chairman of the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing. According to the latest statistics, the number logistics bases in China has grown to 475.
While attending the 6th National Logistics Bases Seminar and the 16th China Logistics Experts Forum in Harbin, Lu said that logistics bases are important for the industry's development. Despite inaccurate orientation, uncertain planning and redundant construction, the logistics industry has been developing in a positive direction and on the right track. The 475 logistics bases offer various services including freight services, production services, business services and comprehensive services, constructing a platform on which different services meet different logistical demands.
