China's Film Industry Breaks Records

The income from China's national film industry has broken records, soaring by 66% this year.
Total takings were 3.6 billion Yuan. This does not include sometimes considerable advertising revenues, for instance the film "A World Without Thieves" generated 40 million Yuan of advertising
Ticket income has increased by 50% since last year to 1.5 billion Yuan.
CCTV-6 and other film channels have broadened their film coverage to adapt to the industry's breakneck growth. |
