Dragonair has ventured into medical tourism

DRAGONAIR has ventured into medical tourism and is offering packages which include air travel, hotel accommodation, health checks transportation and a sightseeing tour targeted at FIT travellers from mainland China.
A spokesman told TTG Daily News: "Hong Kong is renowned for the quality, reliability and professionalism of its medical services and facilities. We see potential in the medical tourism market with the rise in the standard of living and health consciousness in mainland China."
The Hong Kong-based airline has tied up with Union Hospital as its exclusive partner and the Dragonair Holidays Union Hospital Medicare Package is tailor-made to cater to customers' leisure travel and medical needs.
She said: "Customers can make use of our extensive network in mainland China to travel to Hong Kong."
The package, which is being promoted through travel agents in Beijing, Changsha, Dalian Hangzhou, Nanjing, Ningbo, Qingdao, Shanghai, Shenyang and Wuhan, and the airline's website, is valid until March 2008. |
