Eight Chinese Geological Parks Honored World Geological Park Title

Eight popular Chinese tourist destinations have been granted the official title of "World Geological Park" by the United Nations Educational Scientific and Culture Organization. Yellow Mountain in Anhui, Lushan Mountain in Guangxi, Yuntai Mountain in Henan, and the Stone Forest in Yunan are among the seven selected parks. The establishment of the sites as World Geological Parks will encourage the study and protection of the areas and sustainable economic development. |
