Hainan has new national forestry park

The Limushan Forestry Park in south China's Hainan province, a tropical area that abounds in wildlife resources, has just been granted the "national" status by the State Forestry Administration.
As a result, the island province now has six national forestry parks on its 34,000 square meters of land area.
The newly appointed park, with an area of 12,667 hectares, is located in Limushan Mountain, in the center of Hainan.
Limushan park has a well-preserved ecosystem. More than 4,200 varieties of plants are found here, including some 200 on the national protection list. It also boasts nearly 100 species of rare wild animals on the provincial protection list.
The other five national forestry parks in Hainan are Jianfengling, Lanyang, Diaoluoshan, Qixianling and Huoshankou. The six parks together cover most of the wildlife concentration areas in Hainan.
