Japanese Relics on Display in China

A total of 99 Japanese cultural relics have been put on display in Beijing's National Museum. This is the largest Japanese cultural relics exhibition ever held in China.
Six are listed as national treasures, including a Buddhist scripture written with golden ink on purple paper, an imperial face-painting box ornamented with gold and silver.
The exhibition comprises of five parts, spanning archaeology, Buddhist artwork, collectainia and samurai lives.
This is a rare trip abroad for the articles. They are estimated to be worth nearly 50 million US dollars.
China's National Museum is using special display case technology to preserve the proper temperature and moisture for the high-value relics.
