Korean-style shopping street being built in Harbin

Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang Province in northeast China, is building a Korean-style pedestrian shopping street in its downtown area.
All shops on the 200-meter-long street will be of ethnic Korean architectural design and sell Korean goods, according to official sources.
The street, located in Xiangfang District, will be built and open to travelers and consumers by the end of this year.
Heilongjiang is home to a large ethnic Korean population, one of the 56 ethnic groups in
China. The province is also a popular destination for overseas tourists, including those from the Republic of Korea.
