Kuwaiti Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Tuesday vowed to further expand relations with Pakistan in all fields, with emphasis on economy, trade and investment.
Speaking at the "Pak-Kuwait Investment Conference" in Islamabad, the Amir expressed hopes that investment agreements signed Monday between the two countries would help increase public and private partnership in the future.
He said Kuwaiti investors would approach Pakistan for a safe and profit-giving investment, which would also help develop and bring prosperity to Pakistan and its people.
"We hope to see more partnerships in the very near future," he said.
Speaking at the same occasion, Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said Pakistan was open for business and joint ventures for Kuwaiti investors, urging Kuwait to join Pakistan in the journey of peace, progress, development and growth.
He said that Pakistan offered tremendous opportunities for investment, including in manufacturing, agriculture, construction, tourism, power, energy, infrastructure development and other sectors.
