Marco Polo adds to Shenzhen

The Marco Polo Hotel Group has announced the signing of a long-term management contract to operate a five-star deluxe hotel in the Futian Central Business District of Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. Scheduled to open in the summer of 2005, the 375-room hotel has 41 storeys, an executive floor and meetings facilities able to accommodate groups of up to 1200 people. The hotel is in close proximity to the new Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Centre, the upcoming Shenzhen Rapid Transit System and the prime commercial district of Futian. It is being developed and owned by China Tobacco Company (Shenzhen) in cooperation with their asset manager Shenzhen Europe America Business Services Company. |
