AIR Paradise International has introduced a new service to Brisbane and Australian Airlines started flying between Perth and Bali on December 2, increasing seat capacity between Australia and the resort island.
Bali's Air Paradise International sales and marketing manager, Mr Simon Hasibuan, said: "We see demand from the Brisbane market is significant, and we are the only carrier offering a direct service between Brisbane and Bali."
Air Paradise flies twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays. Forward bookings have shown load factors reaching 80 per cent, according to Mr Hasibuan. Brisbane is Air Paradise's fifth destination in Australia after Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide.
Australian Airlines also flies twice weekly between Bali and Perth, using Boeing 767-300 aircraft with 542 seats. With the latest addition, Australian Airlines operates seven weekly flights to Bali, connecting the island with Sydney and Melbourne.
