Shanghai City Received More Foreign Tourists by Water

Shanghai has seen fast increase in the number of visits by foreign tourists by water since this spring,eastday.com reported recently. The Shanghai Port Hongqiao International Passenger Dock received nearly 10,000tourists last month,2.5times more than the same period last year. The visitors will continued to increase as some a dozen large foreign sight-seeing vessels are scheduled to arrive at the dock in late April and May. The vessels,including those from Russia and US,British and other European countries,traveled Chinese costal cities including Hongkong,Xiamen in south,Ningbo,Nanjing and Shanghai in east and Qingdao and Zhangjiagang in northeast. |
