The city of Shanghai has a new tourist site. Three hundred local people became the first group of tourists to visit the Yangshan bonded area on Saturday. The Yangshan bonded area, along with the F1 Circuit and Maglev train, have become Shanghai's new tourist attractions in addition to the old Nanjing road and Chenghuang Temple.
The Donghai Bridge-the world's longest bridge across the sea, a deepwater port, and a bonded area are all located here in Yangshan. Emerging as an international shipping center, the locality has also become a new tourist spot.
The Lingang New Town is the first stop on the route. It is now a new tourist site in the city, similar to what the old "Luchao Port" meant to local people in the past. The Dishui Lake, with an area of 5.56 square kilometers and comparable to the West Lake in Hangzhou a scenic beauty, is located in the center of the town. The Donghai Bridge, built in an "S" shape and stretching 32.5 kilometers in length, is the first cross-sea bridge to be erected in China. The bridge takes 40 minutes to travel by car. A viewing platform is the last stop of the journey. The whole sightseeing trip takes four hours. |
