Shenzhen tops in financial environment

Shenzhen is among five cities in China with the best financial environment, according to a report by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences released Saturday.
The others are Shanghai, and cities of Ningbo, Wenzhou and Hangzhou in East China’s Zhejiang Province, the report says.
The report ranks the country’s 291 medium-sized cities and 50 big cities according to economy, financial development, legal environment, government credit and social insurance.
Zhejiang, Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Fujian and Jiangsu are the top six among provinces and municipalities with the best financial assets, according to the report.
Shanghai leads China’s four municipalities, namely Beijing, Tianjin, Chongqing and Shanghai, in financial environment.
