More than 30 thousand polar and marine animals, shows, direct look on the life of Ocean

Tianjin Haichang Polar Ocean World regularly offers its visitors this beautiful underwater scenery. Sea turtles and countless species of fish perfectly visible in the transparent underwater tunnel. In occasion of upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, Ocean World has wanted to do more organizing very special family dinners inside the underwater tunnel. This resulted in images out of the ordinary. In the effort to do something unique and unusual, the organizers have also staged a real rock concert submarine.

Opened in 2010, Tianjin Haichang Polar Sea World has an exhibition area of ??47,000 sqm and is the largest polar park in the world. It houses more than 150 large animals of the Arctic, Antarctic and more than 30 thousand polar and sea creatures. The exhibition is divided into 9 distinct areas: the polar area, sea area, underwater area, marine area of the surface, the shark exhibition area, area of science interactive, area of coral, jellyfish area, and the Happy Theater. The Happy Theater is a very popular attraction for tourists. There are performed two shows a day, at 11:30 and 15:30. Other shows concern penguins, trained seals, walruses, sea lions, beluga whales, polar bears. The park opens at 9:00 in the morning and closes in the afternoon at 17:00. The shows of sea lions and seals are held at 10:10, at 13:10 and 16:00. The performances of the penguins are at 9:30 and 15:00. Those of beluga at 12:00 and at 14:00. Those of polar bears at 11:00 and at 13:40.
