Travel Agencies to Handle Business for Going Aboard

Travel agencies can only help Chinese people handle overseas travel affairs previously while the China International Travel Service Head Office can help deal with the exit business so far such as business review,cultural exchange,study&training,friends or relatives visiting,emigration and legacy inheriting,The CITS Head Office,boasting more than 9,000 travel agencies around the nation,has built the CITS Exit-Entry Service Co Ltd lately,the first to tap the exit intermediate market. CITS Head Office has expanded its business to public security sector,economic and trade industry and labor and social security sector. The applicants for going aboard have to be approved by five departments on the basis of different exit purposes.The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation will be in charge of the labor services aboard,Ministry of Labor and Social Security will manage the employment for going aboard,Ministry of Education will administer the study aboard and the National Tourism Administration will handle the overseas travel affairs and the Ministry of Public Security will be in charge of the intermediate organizations for going aboard. CITS's move indicated that the travel agencies have wider business operations so far,said an industry analyst. The public security department released 662 qualified intermediate agencies for going aboard from January to March and the CITS Head Office is one of the first batch of 108 qualified organizations in Beijing. |
