Two More Overseas Tourists Wounded at Accident Back Home

A Malaysian couple injured at a road accident during their travel in southwest China's Sichuan Province on Oct. 29 left China for home by air Monday afternoon.
As of Monday, only one tourist from Malaysia had been in hospital for treatment in Chengdu, capital of the province. According to the Sichuan People's Hospital, the Malaysian who suffered from fracture has received surgery operation and now is recovering.
A 42-member tour group was traveling to scenic spots in northwestern Sichuan on Oct. 29 when the bus carrying them ran out of road and overturned. One Singaporean died of heart failure and the other 41 overseas sightseers were injured. Two drivers and one our guide were also injured.
Among the foreign tourists, 34 come from Singapore, seven from Malaysia and one from Indonesia. |
